Our mission at Believe in Community is to stand as a beacon of support for fellow nonprofits within our community. Inspired by Scituate’s spirit and commitment to volunteerism and in memory of Joseph P. Norton, we will strive to cultivate a community of collaboration ensuring that all Scituate nonprofits have the resources, support and recognition they need to make a meaningful impact and create a lasting change in Scituate.

Organizations with similar missions
Since our founding in 2023, we have donated over $15,000 directly to Scituate Community Christmas. Our hope is that our annual $5,000 donation will bring joy to one family during the holiday season.

Community
In collaboration with Friends of Scituate FACTS, we established the first-ever Mental Health Scituate Scholarship Fund. This fund aims to support individuals and families navigating through the complexities of mental health care, bridging gaps between insurance and out-of-pocket expenses.
We also are committed to making a donation to SANDS (Scituate Alliance of Natural Disaster Services) to ensure that they have the resources and supplies they need to mobilize their crisis team in times of natural disasters.
